Vine Cottage - Modern barn cottage
Vine Cottage
About the cottage
Vine Cottage dates back from the 16 Century and was originally a stone cattle barn.

Vine Cottage was completely re-built from the ground up in 1999 using 21st century building techniques whilst sympathetically retaining the character of a modern barn conversion. This gives the property an old look from the outside whilst ensuring that the inside feels spacious and modern. The original barn was over 300 years old and was used as a place of worship by anti Baptists in the 18th Century. The property is deceptively large inside and comfortably sleeps up to eight, in three large bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms on two floors. The front garden meets the side of the house which gives the first impression that the barn is a single storey dwelling, when in fact it offers spacious living accommodation on two floors. The house is surrounded by peaceful rural country side with magnificent views towards hells mouth. It is located down a 100 metre private driveway, just over half a mile from Abersoch on the hill rising from the side of Land & Sea boat sales centre.

Important Note For Dog Owners Intending To Bring A Dog: - Responsible dog owners are very welcome but you must inform us "at the time of booking" if you are intending to bring a dog or dogs. A dog, or dogs, are strictly forbidden without the express prior agreement from us. Vine Cottage is a barn conversion and "shares" a long drive and court yard with what was the original farm house (the farm house is now a residential property and not a working farm). The retired owners and occupiers of the farm house, and therefore immediate neighbours to Vine Cottage, have concerns regarding some types of dog. We therefore always advise them in advance if somebody is bringing a dog, regardless of the size or type of dog. It's merely a matter of courtesy and if you have not previously agreed with us that you may bring a dog, and they inform us during your stay that there is a dog present, unfortunately you will be told to leave, you will not be refunded. Please, don't bring a dog without getting permission from us in advance, or you will forfeit your holiday and your deposit.
